Multiple cylinders misfiring!!!
First off let me give u some background information... Car is an 02 civic lx. it has a 1.7 nonvtec with is a d17a1.. I boosted it and running aem f/ic.. Its been dynoed and everything was running fine for the first 4 months... then all of a sudden it all started... while driving it feels like its lacking power (hence the misfiring) while going up in the rpms.. and while sitting still idling it has a rough idle and while idling it constantly almost stalls but then catches itself and brings up the rpms... I plug in the code reader and 5 codes come up.. cylinder 1 misfire.... cylinder 2 misfire... cylinder 3 misfire.... cylinder 4 misfire... multiple cylinders are misfiring... idk what to do... any help would be much apprecited!!

Re: Multiple cylinders misfiring!!!
if your tune is bad, it can foul plugs quickly. have you taken the plugs out to see what they look like? thats the main cause of misfires. the coil packs can be checked with an ohmmeter. the resistance of all the coils should be close to the same value.

Yeah this can also be it cause I have heard a couple things bout the aem's that sometimes if the weather changes alot from the tune you got then you will have to retune it.
Re: Multiple cylinders misfiring!!!
i'm starting to give up on this car... It went from this problem to now in neutral i rev it up and when it hits 3k rpms it goes into limp mode... I replaced the map sensor and checked for boost/vacuum leaks and didn't find any.. If my tune was messed up, would it cause this problem to occur?
