2004 Civic Si Hard Starting
2004 Civic Si Hard Starting
I'm having problems with my 2004 Si. There are no lights on, but it is very hard to start especially when it is hot outside or I've driven the car recently. All I've tried so far is seafoam in the fuel and intake, and changed the plugs. The plugs looked a little rich, but not really bad. My car has 75,000 miles and a K&N air filter in the stock intake/air box.
If I cycle the key a couple times to let the fuel pump cycle the car seems like it is loaded up on fuel. It then will run rough for a few seconds. Once it is started it runs like a champ. It doesn't dog at WOT and runs smooth and fast.
I'm thinking it is fuel related, but am not sure.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.
