Clutch slipping????
Clutch slipping????
Yesterday while driving to work I noticed the clutch starting to slip. It was slipping pretty bad in 4th and 5th gear. I could give it 1/2 - 3/4 throttle and the RPM's would rise quickly then come back down while in gear.
Now here is the part that confuses me. On my way home I could not get it to slip at all. I was trying all different ways and it would not slip. On my way in today I got it to slip a little in 3rd, but only once.
The car is a 2002 EX and has 78k miles on it. I just bought it a week ago. The clutch lets out pretty high on the pedal. Is it time for a new clutch or is there a way to adjust the pedal to make sure it engages the whole way? Any help is appreciated.
