No acceleration, radio/ac cut out, abs light, srs light all at same time

No acceleration, radio/ac cut out, abs light, srs light all at same time
Today, while driving (with about 200 lbs overweight), i noticed my abs light came on. As slowed down (traffic was merging into one lane), my radio started fuzzing out, my srs light came on, and then my clock eventually disappeared. Shortly after my ac/cut out, and the windows came down very slowly. When trying to accelerate again, the car had trouble getting up to speed and shifting. Is this like all part of one problem, or is it several things that went wrong at once. Maintenance light came on as well, so all three lights were on at the same time. Pretty sure I saw my battery like at least blink once or twice during this whole ordeal.
Needless to say, I was pretty freaked out, as I was on a major highway. Any help in diagnosing the problem (mainly so I know what I'm looking at before I take into the shop) would be greatly appreciated!

maybe a dying battery or loose connection at the clamps? or bad alternator
