A/C Condenser punctured... what's involved in swapping one out?

Basically i've had a series of really crappy luck today.. realized I accidentally put my bumper back on covering the hood latch, so I can't pop my hood at the moment. In the process of trying to get it to open, I ended up just dremeling my grill since i was accidentally sent an extra one a little while back, so I can just reach through there, open it up put another one on. Unfortunately.. my luck gets even crappier when my dremel cutter tip breaks and happens to go flying into my AC condenser and punctures it, and a bunch of air just starting coming out of a really tiny hole. (and my hood still wouldn't open after trying to reach through there!)

Anyways I'm just wondering what would be involved in doing this... I've heard something about having to get the AC system discharged by a mechanic (did i accidentally do this myself when the air started spraying out?) before doing anything with it. I saw a replacement one for like $130 at autozone which I'd like to just put on once I can open up my hood, i'm just wondering if it's a simple matter of just unbolting some things and putting the other one on, or if there's more involved on it.. tried googling this but didn't come up with anything aside from having to discharge the system beforehand
