2002 Civic Si - Idles
2002 Civic Si - Idles
Hi there.
I am a newb so I apologize in advance if I do this wrong.
Have a 2002 Civic Si with about 96k on it. Car is manual and lately when I've been starting it the engine will idle to about 1,500-2,000 revolutions. It settles down after a few minutes.
Have done basic maintenance over the years, but have not done a tune-up, timing belt, etc.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Probably the TPS sensor, are you getting a check engine light? Is it a Canadian Si? If so you are due up for a timing belt, though the timing belt would not cause your issue.
