egr flow insufficient

keep getting obd fualt for egr flow insufficient, 2001 civic ex, already replaced egr valve no help, engine idles little erratic. any ideas....thanx

Re: egr flow insufficient

Clean the entire throttle body, valves, and sensors. This will probably fix the problem.

I had the same problem on my ford explorer I did all the above the guys said and it did not change. The last thing that I change was the back pressure sensor and that worked. In my truck it is a rectangular box with two hose barbs coming out not sure what they look like in a civic thou. Hope this helps.
