Checked you engine mounts? got wheel hop?

I was having bad wheel hop during aggressive launches in 1st gear. was looking around my engine now that there is not snow on the ground and i noticed that my front engine mount was cracked. the rubber in the center of the mount that is. well a new mount that is just the same as the one i broke was almost $80! well i went and found a polyurethane mix that strengthens and even repairs broken engine mounts. its ez to take the mounts out. My front torque mount was totally separated and this stuff is amazing! 3 days and i have a night and day change. best thing i have ever done. i do have a lot more vibration in the cab now but its worth it. the mix was less than $30! and i had enough to do both the lower torque mounts. what a deal! well here is the link...

hope this helps you all.

The ESMM are great. This is a very great mod to do on your car. On my car to have a race header you have to have these but they are great even witha stock car. If you just get just the 2 ESMM these are used just for he torque of the motor. You slip them into the front and rear tranni mounts and this allows the motor to stay still when you hit the gas cause whenever you hit the gas the torque of the motor is jolted back. It also helps wheel hop alittle.

Re: Checked you engine mounts? got wheel hop?

the front mount on these cars always breaks. i replaced with ES insert just on the front mount, and i barely have any extra vibration. but the engine feels so much stronger and more stable when taking off from a stop. i have an auto so the front mount is also a trans mount, maybe the vibration has more parts to dissipate over. i can hardly feel any vibration unless the a/c is on. and even then you really have to know the car to think its out of the ordinary.
