2001 LX Sedan power window problem
2001 LX Sedan power window problem
Ok so here it goes.
After tons of troubleshooting i have no where else to go hopefully u guys can help, heres my problem
I have a passenger window that will not roll down. Here is a list of the things i have replaced
1. drivers master switch
2. passenger switch
3. regulator
4. window motor
5. window track
So here is the weird thing i got a new motor/regulator and hooked it up before installing all the way, and the motor just started going up without me pushing the button. The only time it will not go up automatically is when i have the lock out switch pushed in. So the wire has constant power when the ignition is on im guessing. Assuming that i traced the wire back to the fuse block to see if anybody "tapped" into it and there was nothing. So i checked the relay and that was good. i have no idea what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going crazy here PLEASE HELP

Re: 2001 LX Sedan power window problem
may want to double check the inside of the driver master switch and also the passenger switch. there is a very small and delicate plastic tab inside that may have gotten off its normal groove in the button. i think the box has three screws, then it pops open when you release the 4 tabs. make sure the small black plastic switches are in the middle position where the arrow is. it sounds like one may be stuck in open position.
