annoying noise driving me mad

I'm getting this loud noise at 50+ MPH, that I think it coming from the wheels, but can't figure out whats causing it, It seems the smoother the pavement the louder it gets, It's been driving me mad lately because of all the roads getting repaved in my area. On roads where the pavement is rough, I don't here it at all. In the last year I have gotten new front shocks, front wheel bearings, lower control arms, ball joints, and a recent wheel alignment. I also had a brake check last week and was told fronts were fine and the rears were cleaned & adjusted. I'm wondering if the Tires could be the issue, they are about 5 yrs old and have about 86K them, but still have plenty of tread left.

its possible the tires are to blame. esp with that many miles. my stupid stock firestones were so loud and trashed at 20k miles i had to replace em. what a difference it made in road noise.

I was thinking about getting a new set soon anyway before winter sets in, I hope this does the trick. Thanks for reminding about those stock firestones I had a few years back, didn't have any noise issues but the traction or lack of when the roads were wet left little to be disired.

yeah those tires have 1/10 rating on tirerack lol. be sure you get some quiet tires next time around. check the reviews. alot of new tires are still noisy, it depends on the design.
