From what we can tell, it came out of a 03-05 civic lx or ex coupe, automatic.
If you dont have a tach wire in your wire harness, I'm sure you'll be able to add it- lots of ppl add tachs, its probably as simple as plugging the clip in, or at most, running a wire from the ecu area to your gauge cluster. Search for adding a tach on the site to see what involved, I know a lotta ppl have swaped clusters so they could have a tach.
It'll fit in your car, so dont worry about that. The connectors will plug right in as well. The only thing is you might have to repin a few wires (pretty easy) look up 01hondercivic's 03-05 gauge cluster swap thread, he has a link to a video.
