Is my 02 DX engine worth it?
I've been driving this 2002 Civic DX VP, Non-Vtec, for the past few months. Would this motor be worth putting any money into? Does the VTEC really make that much of a difference? My last honda had a jdm h22a swap, and it was noticably more powerful.. Should I look into a swap, or would it be worth my time doing engine mods?

vtec makes no difference, in fact the lx/dx may actually be faster at lower rpms because all 16 valves are open vs only 12 valves in vtec engine (unless gas pedal is floored). you could add intake system and see if it helps, but dont except miracles. these engines barely put out 100whp. alot of people do the K20 swap from rsx.
