Speedometer Needle Problem...Anyone Else?

A couple of times when I have been on the freeway between 65 and 75 mph, my speedometer needle has just quickly dipped about half way down to zero and then quickly bounced back up the the correct speed. There is no problem with the car, it keeps running at the same rpm. Weird. Does anyone else have this happening? Thanks

Happens to me constantly!! The Service guys at the dealership didn't know what I was talking about when I tried to explain it to them?

I told my dealership that and they told me since they couldn't reproduce the problem they refuse to fix it. I'm guessing it has something to do with the speedo sensor. That is the problem with having all this electronic pick up ****. We alrady know my dealerships are a$$holes so if anyone finds anything out please let me know.

you have the right to have someone at the dealership ride along with you, so you can attempt to reproduce the problem, probably want them sitting in the back looking over your shoulder.

2cute: Correct. My car has only done it twice that I have noticed. Does anyone know if there is TSB on this issue, or how to search for them? Thanks.

PseudoChrist could you possibly hook us up with the TSB#? It should be on the paperwork they gave you.
