I'm trying diagnose a high pitch like noise that occurs only at highway speeds over 60mph on my 01 civic LX (AT). I doesn't seem to occur at low speeds at all, and it stops when I left off the gas pedal, but resumes once I put my foot back on. The noise iseems to be coming from the right side of the engine bay. I faster i go above 60 the more pronouced the noise becomes. I did have recent work done such as new wheel bearings on both fronts, and had the transmission replaced. Any suggestions on possible causes for this noise?

Oh no, you had both of those done?!!! Those are the top two possibilities. Passenger side of the car has the tranny, so start there.
