Can you identify this o2 sensor?
I had the front o2 sensor replaced on my '01 HX a few months ago. The check engine light is still on with a P1167 code. After reading a thread in these forums about the HX's requiring a wideband oxygen sensor instead of a narrowband, it got me wondering if the mechanics installed the right one or not. Apparently, AutoZone, Bosch, and other websites list the wideband in their parts search for the '02 HX but not for the '01 HX. Anyway, the shop I took my car to is under new ownership now and a pain to get to. I got the run-around when I called them up. Such a pain.
I took some pictures of the o2 sensor. Any chance that anyone can recognize the brand (Bosch, Denso?) and possibly if it's a wideband? There are four wires - two white, one gray, one black). I'd like to know before I plop down $150 more for a new sensor (which I suppose I'll have to do anyway at some point). Thanks!

Re: Can you identify this o2 sensor?
that looks like a regular narrowband heated sensor. doesnt even look like anything close to what you need. i dont even think its the right one for your car, just a generic something they threw on. the sensors are very specific and using the wrong one will not fix the CEL. i installed a 2ndary sensor in the primary spot cause auto store gave the wrong one, and it ran very weird. make sure you get the exact sensor that you need.
