Shuddering, bucking at just below 1/4 tank

I took a look around the forum but didn't find a problem that matched mine. I have an 01 DX, and it runs great until i get just below a 1/4 tank. After that point the acceleration will randomly drop off (sounds like it drops in rpm as well) and the car will jerk and buck rather violently. I've tried the Canadian Tire fuel injector cleaner and fuel treatment crap, but (as expected) it's done nothing. Anybody have any idea's? Thanks in advance

maybe your gas meter is displaying wrong. Like showing that you have 1/4 tank left when theres actually less gas available

Re: Shuddering, bucking at just below 1/4 tank

or something wrong with the fuel pickup idk. i wouldnt trust the gas gauge much, since most of the older 01-02 civics had fuel sender issues. mine would read completely empty when i still had over 5 gallons left. had the sender replaced under warranty and its been fine since.
