Lost pickin struts

I have a 05 Civic and need new struts. Ive read the other threads and got more confused. I want to replace struts now, then have lowering springs put on later. Any suggestion on the type and method?

tokico shocks? and follow the diy here under 7thgen diy forums for spring install or have a shop do it.
