Clunking/clicking when car weight shifts
Clunking/clicking when car weight shifts
I have taken my car to 3 different mechanics and keep being told they cant find anything wrong. Anytime i backup, go uphill, shift and sometimes braking there is a clicking noise like something is sliding. Had suspension/steering checkd said no prob-eventho theres play n wheel. Had brakes checkd, just need cleaning. Can anyone tell me WTH is wrong wit my car?
Its has also been burning more gas, shakes when idling and has no pickup.

might need a general tuneup, as well as cleaning the intake system parts (throttle body, iac valve, etc). also clunk sounds usually are suspension related like loose tie rods or bad cv joints.

Congrats, you have at least one broken motor mount. Cheapest temp fix is if you get Energy Suspension inserts. Best solution is get new motor mounts and the ES inserts.
