Auto Tranny Problems (go figure)
Hi All!

I'm running an '04 LX and have come across some unusual auto tranny problems.

I am hearing noises under the hood that sounds like a turbo blow off valve when the trans upshifts. Under the hood the tranny fluid is spraying (more of a mist, really) around the dipstick and the dipstick is now loose.

Is there a breather or vacuum line I need to check or will a new dipstick fix it.

Those dipsticks are very loose but... spraying/misting is not likely due to the poor fit.

That's what I was thinking. That's why I was wondering if there was a breather or vac line I should be concerned about.

too much tranny fluid? did you recently change the transmission fluid?
