Ok, I have few major problems with my '02 civic dx. First of all, every time I drive over bump or small road imperfection, front wheels start to either shake or vibrate. I went to few shops for the last 3 months. Nobody can tell me whats wrong. " everything looks good, we didn't find any problems". bullshit. Second, I noticed knocking sound today in the front end when I accelerate or drive at >40mph. Engine? May be there is any connection with first problem? Last one (which is more annoying than serious I guess) is that I hear clunking every time I drive over bumps. I guess I need to change my struts?

Oh, and there are 66k miles on it

I got a feeling that you have bad struts. My car was doing the same clunk when I drove over a bump before I got new Tokico HP shocks. Also could be a weak end link. I know I have a weak end link in the front, but it didnt make any more sound when I got the new shocks.

What about the knocking noise when I accelerate or drive at high speed? Engine problem? Timing belt? No "check engine" appeared. Oil level is normal. What could it be?

popping is your upper spring mounts, clunking over bumps is your struts, i recomend 4 new.
cluncking on acceleration is your front and/or rear motor mounts just look at them, they are broke. replace both or all 4.

you should get the whole suspension checked, something prolly is loose, aside from the bad shocks.

I went to the shop couple days ago and they found out that sway bar link is a little bit lose. This, they said, it could cause vibration and even a clunking noise. $88(sic!) to adjust it. Could it be the reason? I don't really want to waste money..THanks!
