shifter problem fixed

shifter problem fixed
i had recently posted a thread about having a shifting problem. It was real tight going into 4th gear and it made a weird squeeky sound in 4th and 5th whenever i shifted. Well i got it fixed today...the problem was that the shifter ball was cracked. So everything is all good now, and the shifting is great once again! Does anybody have a clue how the shifter ball cracks?
