Rep Power: 0 wiper not returning/no intermitent
hey! newb here. anyone have a problem with their wipers? My intermitent stopped working and they don't return were they are supposed to. I did a seach but couldn't find anything. It might be the switch, but thought I'de check before i go buy one. Also having trouble reoving the old one. I took out 2 screws but couldn't find anymore. the switch wouldn't budge. Anyone have a good 2005 manual? mine isn't very good. also looking for owners manual, is that online? (i lost mine ).

i think the switch gets stuck or something internally. i struggle with this on the 92 accord. most of the time the wiper just stops in the middle and i have to turn it past the intermittant so they go back down.

Yeah, the mist works, int doesn't (I have 2 slow possitions now), and they don't return to the same possition, only if I time it right with the single wipe. If I shut off from the slow possition, it goes for a bit and shuts off randomly.
Any ideas? I hope its not the multi function unit behind the fuse box cause thats $488 from honda. yikes.

thanks for the diagram, its the same one I've got though
I think I'll try replacing the switch (something tells me that not it) and then look for the control unit at a wrecker. I'll post what I find out.

Re: wiper not returning/no intermitent
usually this turns out to be a bad wiper motor. The park switch inside doesn't tell the motor to shut off when they are in the "park" position, so they continue to run for a while, and stop wherever they want.

thanks for the info! Maybe I'll try a wiper motor from the wrecker first. Seems to me that something is controling the motor and telling it when to "park".
