Steering wheel is wonky
Steering wheel is wonky
CHeesy pic:

So I was driving and sorta drifted into a curb. the right front wheel kinda ricocheted at 40km/h. I think that's why the wheel is wonky. Now, i have to turn the wheel to the red line's angle (see above) to drive straight. It's very slight.
Is this an alignment issue? Is that how i should fix this?
if not, how else would i fix this? what possible parts are damaged?
Thanks for your replies in advance!

Re: Steering wheel is wonky
do a visual inspection on the tie rod before you spend money on an alignment. if you bent the tie rod an alignment won't fix it and you'll have to replace it before your steering will be right again.
Re: Steering wheel is wonky
Thanks for feedback everyone!!
I'll check the tie rod as per this DIY: https://www.civicforums.com/forums/s...archid=1581730
Hopefully it's just the alignment!!

Re: Steering wheel is wonky
if the steering wheel is only slightly off, the toe adjustment will take care of it! the adjustment on the tie rod can fix a huge toe problem. the shop that does the alignment should do some pre-alignment checks anyway, to check for loose suspension components etc....
Re: Steering wheel is wonky
was the Toe adjustment. thanks dude!!
