How much?
How much is a reasonable price for a front panel to be removed and put on and painted along with some paint work done on a bumper with a pin stripe. Some guy hit me, so I got an estimate of $1200 and he said its way too much, what do u guys think. I want the work done by a quality shop but he refuses to pay, and I would hate to go through insurance.(should this be under the law section?)

Re: How much?
the front trim panel above the wheel, what u mean by the front clip. Also the bumper needs to be pulled off and some sort of clip needs to be replaced behind the bumper. As well as a part of the bumper needing to be resprayed. I didnt think it was that bad of a price but apparently this guy does.

Re: How much?
You're forgetting it's HIS FAULT. Stick it to that mother****er - Tell him to give you $1200 or you're going through insurance. Stop playing nice with him

Re: How much?
Your rates wont go up if you report a not-at-fault accident, especially if your company does have to pay. Make his insurance pay if he doesnt want to. I think you need to file a police report as well as proof that it happened- esp good idea if he decides to default on payment.
