I bought my car used and I think it has the wrong cap on the coolant tank.
Can someone post a pic of the cap on theirs please? Does the cap have a built in vent of some kind? Thanks in advance.

are you from canada? most 01-05 civics have a double cap on the radiator. theres the main metal one, and then a black plastic cap that goes over it which is not needed. i actually took mine off cause the metal looks nicer.

Thanks for replying. I'm not referring to the rad cap. I meant the cap on the coolant resevoir (overflow tank) or whatever you want to call it. Thanks,

oh that one should just be a white plastic cap with a notch to turn it with. i can snap a pic if you want. its not vented but its not pressurized either.
