nastly clicking noise

nastly clicking noise
so this started happening about a month ago and before i go to the mechanic i want to see if i can get some knowedge here about what it might be.
Whenever i put the trans in 1st and start going about 10mph, it starts to make a clicking sound. and it will continue to do this even up to 5th gear. it doesnt do it when im in first going slow as hell though. but as soon as i put the clutch in the noise will go away, adn it gets loud when its about 2500rpm, like disturbing loud.... and the tranny doesnt jerk or anything, runs fine, just a looud nasty noise when im driving.
side note: the clutch was replaced about 1.5 yrs ago. any info on what that sound is? im thinking it some sort of bearing.....
