DRL relay change

Just wondering if anyone could give me a run down on how to change the daytime running light relay on a 2002 civic si. The drl light flickers on the dash and makes a buzzing noise. also the one high beem doesn't work. I don't think this is a hard job but I dont have a manual. some help would be appreciated.

Thanks Chris

check the basics first. check the fuses. check the grounds.

are both headlights funtioning both high and low? there dual filiment and if one dosent work it wont affect the other one.

I have the same problem!
The DRL light is on. When I release the handbrake then the buzzing sound begins and the DRL light stays on. Once I turn on the Head Lights, the lights go off and the buzzing sound goes off. When put it high beam, only the left light goes on.
How can I fix this?

Re: DRL relay change

there are alot of new threads about this. you just need to resolder the connections in the drl control module under the dash.

Re: DRL relay change

I have the same problem too. My driver side headlight low beam and high beam work. If i put the low beam on the passenger side wont come on and the high beam for the passenger will only turn on after maybe 15 minutes or if you keep playing with the handle. Low beam just wont turn on the passenger side but high beam would. I wanted to add a HID kit to my car so if i do that right now will the same problem occur or not?
