Hi, I have 2001 civic coupe. I was trying to open the trunk and when I was pulling the lever I heard crack and now I can't close the trunk/can't open the gas door. I heard this is a common problem and I know the website called http://www.fueldoorfix.com. Also, I know I could open the gas door from my trunk so I'm not really worried about that however, it really bothers me a lot that I can't close the trunk. Can anybody help me on this please?? I will take it to the honda dealer on monday but I want to know if there's any like temporary fix. Please help me guys. Thank you!

temp fix is ****en ziplocks from the inside, as far as your sayn the button is jammed and it wont close till you fix the button

hey this is off topic but you personally own a passport 8500 x50 detector?(yeah i saw your picture thought i'd check out what you had under the hood) those seem beneficial for obvious reasons but aren't they illegal to have in a car, and do they REALLY work? im skeptical.

what is the range on it(radius) if you know. Cops in Toronto use laser as it is, so yeah about 2 tickets and its paid, good call. the picture in question is your avatar, then you can view profile right?

Iv picked up "radar" within a 2-4 mile radius on open freeway...

in the city its more like a mile. maybe a mile and a half.

and if you get hit with laser, your done. No matter what electrical device you have.

I heard there are some devices that display where police cars are at any given time, on a lcd. Think of it like a gps that shows cops AND restaurants. Given that a cop would need a car within at least a quarter mile of him, would those not be sufficient to find out where a speed trap would be, or a parked cop. Given that radar detection would also be nice to have.

most cop never leave the radar on continuously, and theyre careful to only aim and shoot at a fast moving car not to give themselves away all the time. detectors are fairly useless.

i figured that there would be no way to pick up a radar GUN if its not emitting anything, but still, In toronto they usually have those things up and going all day, lots of speeders. and if you can pick it up even a 1/4 mile away, thats all you really need right?
