Rep Power: 0 No Power Anywhere
Hi -
I need some advice on where to start troubleshooting the following problem...
There was a short at the alternator on my Civic. It fried the main battery 80a fusible link. I replaced the link, but there is still no juice for any accessories. No lights, no nothing. Needless to say, it won't start either. I currently have the alternator out of the car, as what caused the short also broke the stud off of the alternator, so that needs to be replaced. The car should run off of battery power alone w/out the alternator being plugged up, correct?
Any advice on what the problem (something else fried, etc) may be?
Thanks,
Chris
