Battery Light Issue
Battery Light Issue
I have had an issue with my battery light for awhile now. I'll be driving and when I press either my brake or clutch pedal the battery light will flicker. It's not everytime , but it happens quite a bit. I doesn't seem to affect overall functionality of the car but I'd like to figure it out. I have no CELs and I have already replaced the battery terminals. Only thing I can think of is the alternator but I'd like a few opinions first.
Re: Battery Light Issue
Alternator is toast,,,prolly the voltage regulator inside the alternator...it comes on intermittenely when the brake and clutch is in because your dropping rpms...you'll probably notice that when your above 3,000rpm the light is off....as soon as you drop below 3,000rpm it will prolly turn on! Change your alternator..
