well for the last 4 yrs my auto tranny has taken forever to switch from R into D before it grabs and starts moving forward. usually 3-4seconds every time. well i just changed my primary oxygen sensor yesterday, and one of the many benefits i noticed was it only takes one second to switch into drive. Just thought id share cause i remember this was a big problem. so maybe the sensor being old was not responding fast enough to the ecu. I dont know the details, but problem is solved for me. the last 10 times i put the car in D from R or N, its engaged in only one second.
