Just took a trip to the honda dealership and...
Well the wonderful honda dealership told me that my car (not even 35000 mile 2005 honda civic) has carbon build up. On the sheet it was the ONLY thing that was not marked green. They marked it red saying it needed to be cleaned. So my questions is should i pay the dealership over $100 or just use the spray that is made to clean out the throttle body? Or is there another way to make sure its clean like manually taking it off etc...

lmao, every car has carbon buildup, its normal. spend that money on lubecontrol.com products and make your car run better. you can also take off the throttle body and IAC valve and clean them with carb cleaner for free.

I have actually purchased lc20 and the fuel additive. Did make an increases. Also the honda guy said that if i did get the throttle body cleaned it would "increase my gas mileage 10-15%". Thats actually when I told him no and left. Thanks alot for the input gearbox +1
