DRL and high beam not working, with buzzing noise
DRL and high beam not working, with buzzing noise
I have a 2003 Honda Civic (Canada).
A few weeks ago, I noticed a strange buzzing noise when I turned on the car. I thought at first that it was the air conditioning system. It would stop after about a minute. I found that if I turned on the headlights the noise would also stop.
Now the DRL warning light comes on intermittently when I'm driving, and the passenger side DRL does not work at all. The high beam on that side does not work either. The headlights work fine.
Anything I can try? Changing the bulb did nothing. I would really like to avoid a trip to the dealer (and the $40 cab ride each way).

check the drl module behind the plastic panel where the hood release is located. and check the drl relays.

I had the same problem, I at first I would just turn on my headlights, until one day I forgot to turn it off and it drained my battery. So after that I just disabled my DRL.
