Keyless Entry System

Basicly Im not planning on anyone really stealing anything in my car anytime soon. On a side note the current system thats on my car obviously isant stock because the remote is not a honda remote and it sucks. I basicly have to be right at the car for it to work. I just happen to be browsing and found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OR-Ca...spagenameZWDVW
Not sure what type of hassle it is to put in but it does look identicle to the honda remote and has a few more features, as long as you think its ok I don't mind giving it a try because I don't really care my remote doesen't work that far away but this is not that bad of a price.

Re: Keyless Entry System

idk, the price is good but how long would it last compared to a quality system? youre better off spending around $250 for a decent system. my viper i had installed in 2002 is still working great. and it has many channels if you wanna add stuff later like trunk popper.

Yeah I would like to have one of those but the one I got now quality wise has taken a **** and I just want something to replace it. Personally don't have that extra dough to throw at one right now.

Looks ok, its definitely a cheap price but the quality is probably ****. I'd say go and check out some viper systems or something of that caliber. Heres a similar item made by Viper and BestBuy will install it for free too.

Re: Keyless Entry System

Looks good but I'm really not concerned about the security. Just the door opening and why I can't do anything with mine unless im right at the car in the first place making it pointless.

As far as quality concerns what I have now, that battery is a hong kong battery. So I'm assuming the owner before put a ebay system on it. Not sure cause I do not know where the box for it would be located on my car.

Re: Keyless Entry System

Crutchfield used to have a keyless only system for a good price ( I did not look at your e-bay price)

2 remotes and a great range.
