When to replace Timing Belt of Civic 2001

Hi,
I have just got hurt by Honda Dealer, who charged me for Alternator replacement for $640 (Toronto Canada). I bought my civic in Houston TX and moved to Toronto Canada. Since then Tranny broke (only 37000 miles) and costed me 4000 now alternator. It has 74989 miles currently and I am wondering, should I keep the car or replace the timing belt and wait for more surprises. Any suggestion at what mileage level should I change timing belt as Honda Manual says 110K and on details says 60K if living in cold areas.
I dont understand as we have extreeme cold for 3 months in Toronto. After huge investment what else should I expect. I used to keep the car clean and lubricated by spraying WD40 every month on engine parts event then got lot of trouble.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Unless your dead broke - change it. Dont wait for more problems.

Here in the states it is good to change it between 80-100k.

I am currently at 86k. I am going to be changing mine in the next few months.
