HELP !!! Annoying bearing kind noise STILL DOESNT GO AWAY !!!

Ok I just got the car back this evening from the shop that replaced my clutch. I gave them the Stage 1 Competition Clutch that I bought from Dezod 2 weeks ago. As Dezod said, All the applicable bearings came with it. I got the clutch replaced today. Drove it home from the shop (7 miles) no noise and everythings good. (EXCEPT 3rd gear still grinding). I park the car at home for 2 hours. After about an hour I decide to go to AUTOZONE and Honda dealer to check prices for an engine mount and I HEAR THAT ANNOYING grrrgGRGRRRRRR sound AGAIN !!! I cant beleive it man

Now what could that noise be???? The shop is closed right now and I will have to go back tomorrow but can anyone help me in what it could be now man !!! The shop guys were kool as they told me straight facts from what they saw underneath. They honestly told me i need to replace the front enigne mount which i knew was bad! they re4surfaced the flywheel and everything ... Now what could it be ???

When does it make the sound? All the time? When you push on the clutch? only when the clutch is out?

Re: HELP !!! Annoying bearing kind noise STILL DOESNT GO AWAY !!!

Ok the DEZOD says both the INPUT SHAFT and the THROW OUT BEARING came with the clutch. The SHOP says BOTH THE INPUT SHAFT AND THROW OUT bearing were replaced. It still making the noise ...

The noise starts as soon as i launch the car in first gear after the clutch is completely disengaged and then the same thing happens in 2nd gear . As soon as u press the clutch put the car in 1st or 2nd gear and launch, the moment u let ur foot off the clutch this GRRRR sound starts ... the pitch increases with the RPM . U notice this only in 1st and 2nd gear.

Im gonna sign up in a little bit, but honeslty does that mean I have to change my syncros for both the first and second gear I am NOT UNDER WARRANTY man !!!

Tomorrow morning im going back to the guys who did the clutch job and they are pretty good people, who actually know what there talkin about. They honestly called me and told me i needed my flywheel to be resurfaced (which I didnt talk to them about on purpose coz I wanted to check if they really did a good job or just there to make money). They even told me that my engine mount was bad, which 3 other people have told me over the past year
SO Im going tomorrow morning to get it diagnosed from them and hopefully something will work out !

Green is right i had the exact samething and the dealership replaced synchros bearins (and they said something about new pins). Now the tranny feels and sounds like new again.

Re: HELP !!! Annoying bearing kind noise STILL DOESNT GO AWAY !!!

That sounds like your input shaft bearing. When you buy a clutch, it does not come with that bearing, and in order to get to it, you have to tear the whole transmission apart. The bearing is like $20 and it costs an arm and a leg to replace if you go through your dealership. Now unless the shop completely tore the tranny apart, I almost guarantee they didnt replace that bearing. Ive replace a few of them for some members on here, too bad you dont live in cali. haha. Anyways, you need to get that bearing replaced and I guarantee that grinding noise will go. The odds of the synchros being bad is highly unlikely, its almost always the input shaft bearing that causes that noise.
