Rusty Window Trim

Anyone know a DIY way of repairing sun-damaged window trim?

Re: Rusty Window Trim

I also have a window trim related problem, but its the one on the bottom, its cracked and peeled all the way across, so I think Im gonna have to paint it. Any way to take the bottom one off too?

Re: Rusty Window Trim

I have no idea. It's only an '02 and it was like that when I got it two years ago (05). I figure it's sun damage, but that really doesn't make sense, since my car is only 5 years old and the other side is fine. Anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Sand and paint? A body shop would be able to refresh it for you no problem. I know I had a crinkle in mine on the drivers side (seemed like some sort of black molding/tape so I just used the visors that arent in channel to hide it lol.
