preventing rust off care in the winter, practically impossible

hey just got a new my new 2002 civic coupe, and today I noticed some rust around my outer inside part of my tire like the metal clip thats holds the stupid hub cap in place.

Well its not a big deal since i'm getting rims for them this summer, but the question is its almost practically impossible to keep rust of ur car durning the winters in the east coast with all the snow and salt on the roads. and plus those wash and spray places basically suck beacuse all they have is wash and rinse and not the waxing option. So my car goes with out a new coat of was over the winter seasions

i have no rust. i'm in illinois; we have: salt, snow, rain etc. if you want to prevent rust keep your car waxed and clean. i wax my car about every 4 weeks. i park on the street and i get blasted by puddles and slush daily. keep it clean and you should not have to worry about rust. your car can only look as good as the amount of effort, time, and money you are wiling to invest.

In Michigan they use way too much salt on the roads...during the winter I washed my car at least once every other week...I just hated seeing the dry salt on my paint....ugghhh...

I got my car rust proofed at Krown, its canada biggest rust proofing company.....
its a yearly app, but they guarantee that if anything ever rusts, they'll replace the entire panel on your car at their expense and have it painted at a shop of your choice....only thing they dont do is give y a rental....but i dont have any rust problems....my old corolla didnt either and i had that car sprayed every year. My uncles 92 Camry is also good and its been sprayed every year.....
