Weak Braking

Anyone of you guys experienced weak braking from your 2k1 civic? It's like you have to pump the brakes to make it more effective. Here in RP, dealers have to bleed the brake system and replace the brake fluids. Will replacing the brakes with racing brake pads and brake shoe improve the system? What remedies have you done for this kind of problem?

Buy the Willwood big brake kit. Honda chose to use crappy, soft brakes that's why they don't repond well.

Or if you're not upto that hardcore stuff just get some hawk pads for the front. Then do your SS brake lines when they're available to improve your pedal feel.
