Tranny Noise When In Reverse & Clutch Petal Is Pressed

I have a grinding noise when car is in reverse and the clutch petal is pressed. If I pop it into neutral while rolling backwards the noise stops. I experience no noise in any other gear. Does any body know or has anybody ever experienced this before?

Re: Tranny Noise When In Reverse & Clutch Petal Is Pressed

I am going to reply to my own post. I took it to Aamco and had it looked at. Turns out my tranny case was cracked. Also my reverse gear was all chipped up. I replied to it in case anyone is searching for this problem. Just to let everyone know I should have rebuilt it myself but I had no time this week. I recommend doing it yourself to avoid the $$$$.
