clutch has pressure but car doesnt go anywhere. HELP!
ok i just gone done swapping my new motor in. i swapped in my old clutch, flywheel and throwout bearing. i start the car and everything is fine i go about 100 feet and the clutch disengages with a loud jerk/click. i had no more clutch pressure. i bled the clutch again and now there is tons of pressure but the car doesnt go anywhere. as if the car was in neutral the whole time. also when i leave my car in gear and rev it the speedo goes up. just for kicks i revved it really high to see if the speedo would go to like 200 (lol) and the car actually moved about 2 feet while in 5th gear. WHATS THE PROBLEM?! i need my car back i cant take it anymore
i just remembered, i didnt put the axles all the way in and i didnt fill the tranny fluid all the way. but i am thinking that even with that the car should still move.
oh and i get that clicking noise when the clutch is disengaged, i believe that means i have a bad throwout bearing? correct me if im wrong. but even with that the car should still be driveable.

Re: clutch has pressure but car doesnt go anywhere. HELP!
i would check the axles, i remember once my brother freaked out cause his car wouldnt move when it was in gear and he thought he blew his Type-R tranny in his hatch, but it turned out to be a bad axle. Have one of your buddies put the car into gear and try to drive it and see if the axle is spinning..if it is...you need a new axle. If your car moves and then it stops...probably the axle popped out and needs to be put back in
