ABS Light on this morning

Ok so this morning(which was cold) I was going to my meeting and my ABS light was on from when I put the car in drive till I shut it off. Going back from the meeting it was still on also.

When I got back I popped the hood and pulled the ECU fuse for a minute and went in to check the forums. I didn't even bother to test it out if it did anything. I check the forums and people wrote that you cannot reset a SRS or a ABS light, only a CEL light.

I had to go to work a few hours later so I started it up and drove to work which is 5 minutes away and it didn't go on at all. Even on the way back it didn't go on.

Anyone have any ideas?

my girlfriend had a similar problem with her grand am. The light would go on like that and i was told by the dealership sometimes when the sensor gets to cold or wet it will trip. I believe it becaue it goes on when it rains. you did good by reseting the ecu

I wish you were right but I went to Honda today cause the light came back on. The left side rear speed sensor is shot. They are charging me 220 for the part, labor plus how long it took them to use the computer. Basically 2 hours of labor. And the services rep was like "oh lucky yo that it wasn't that much". I just smiled because to me that is a lot for a damn sensor install.

On top of that I have to wait for the part to come which could be 4-5 days they said. So now I still have the ABS light on and I have to wait. It is the coldest it's ever been in New York for a while which means lots of ice. Lucky me I would say.
