Talking Painting Intake Pipes?

I fab'd my own custom cold air intake awhile back, with a k&n filter.. blah blah. When I came home from Vegas the hose that's for the overflow to the radiator came off and I had my pipes just stained with radiator fluid. I've been thinking for awhile to paint my intake pipes... I was thinking of using brake caliper paint..(?) or whatever works best.

caliper paint can be pricey. just get some high heat enamel paint. remember, no fruity colors

will do. I'm getting the paint this weekend... just got paid. I'd like to go red but my hose fittings are blue. I'll just go black, cause I got to paint a trim piece inside my car as well.
