ok here is my dilemma, i have an 01 ex coupe and lately i have been having problems shifting. it makes a squeaking noise and then i have to push or pull pretty hard to get it into gear. sometimes it even pops out of the gear i am in? is there any thing i can do to fix this, my car is going into the shop on monday, and i dont want to spend a boatload of money?

01-03 trannys are gay, i have an 03 ex and i went through one already, on my second tranny and sounds mess up after 2months, i dunno but 04-05 trannys are better cuz my friends 04 has not problems, im talking about manuals

It probably is your synchro that is going out, but I don't think that it is too much of a pain in the a$$ to fix. My friend has gone through a bunch on his RSX. He's on his second transmission (first one broke at the track), but he is pushing 400+ at the wheels. I tell him that he needs to learn how to drive, j.k.

lol im hoping it is just that, i will most likely pick my car up tonight, so i will find out what the damage is then
