For those of you who have had a few problems with you 2K1's like me here is some possible help. My sunroof had a rattle and the problem there was with the sunroof shade. The original shade is made too thin and warps slightly from exposure to heat. They replaced it with a new one that is made thicker and the rattle stopped. If you have a squeaky front end like me then replacing the springs may be the solution. I had mine in twice without them being able to stop the squeaking. This time they replaced the springs and no more squeaking.

Well all I can say is you got damn lucky. I have been to 3 different dealerships and none of them want to fix any of my problems.

2cute---I read about the problems you have been having. I feel for you. I too am a little angry that I paid for a brand new car and I am now having the problems I have. My car only has 10,000 miles on it and I don't feel it should be doing some of the things it does. I know that all cars have problems, and I accept that. I still think though that the 2K1 civic is no where near as good as the 2000. Plenty of people on this site have made that statement too. It just seems strange to me that the 2000 was so great and now the 2K1 is having trouble matching up to the 2000. I accept that I am going to have a few kinks in the car, I just hate making the payments on the car and having it be in the shop once a month. I still haven't had all my problems fixed. My seat rocking has yet to be fixed, still have several strange noises in the front end. And I also have a couple of problems that the dealer keeps telling me they are not able to reproduce so they can't fix. The biggest one is the downshifting of the transmission which is sometimes confused with the brakes grabbing. I have noticed the rpm's jumping up when this happens. I've told the dealer all this but they say as much as they drive it they have yet to have it happen to them. I can say though that they are working with me. I just keep taking it back and complaining. Hope you have some better luck.
