Help!! My fans wont come on

Help!! My fans wont come on This morning on the way to work I noticed that my temp. gauge was higher than it normally was. But whenever I start to put the car in motion and was moving it would go down. So when I pulled over and checked the engine I noticed that the fans were not on. Normally the fans are on. I just gave the radiator a flush and changed the oil last Sat. Any help would be greatley appreciated.
