Just when you think its fixed.... HELP
OK, so about a month ago my car got broken into and the jerks just clipped all the wires behind that console the radio is in and left with the whole thing. I only got 400 dollars (damn deductable) from gieco to replace my stuff so...
I decided to just buy that big a$$ wire bundle from majestic and replace the whole thing for under 200 bucks, which worked out awesome up until the very end. I have all the pieces in order and everything should have been plug and play (no wire clipping or rewiring or anything) and when turn the key, it starts up just fine and all accessories work.
My problem is when I go to shift my (regretted) automatic transmission from park...it wont budge. I searched the forums in regards to the immobilizer and ruled that out because its not fuel or spark related...the car starts fine it just wont shift.
I didnt touch the shift linkage or anything, just took the **** off to take apart that center console...I'm totally stumped here guys...any ideas?

I dont hear anything when I apply the brake, but when I push in the button on the **** itself I can hear clicking in the console and also in the steering wheel ( can kinda feel it too)
Hey guys thanks for checking out my problem, I figured it out though...
There is a small white clip that is right in front of the brake pedal that ( i assume) sends the signal to the transmission that the pedal is being depressed and somehow the existing clip had the wires clipped behind the connector...I just cut and spliced them back together and all is well!
