I have an 01 LX coupe and lately its been popping out of gear, mostly 3rd. I don't know much about tranny's, but is this possibly a synchros or shif linkage problem?? Also, the shifter tends to get "notchy" when i use the A/C or when its cold out. Usually during the summer the shifter shifts smoothly, when im not using the A/C. I changed out the tranny fluid, but that didn't solve anything.
