Service Light

My car's warranty is now void, However every 5000 k my service light comes on (not the engine light) the service soon light comes on. How do I clear this stupid light. Please help. Its a 2003 EX

its just a miantenance light that comes on to tell you to service your car (i.e. oil change, etc...) To get rid of it hold your reset button on your gauge cluster and turn the key to the on position. The light will flash a couple of times and then be cleared.
