Gas Light

hey I am just trying to figure out how many more gallons of gas are left in the car when the gas light comes on..does anybody know?

usually about 2-3 gallons, but it varies.

Yes, I agree, 2.5 gallons or so. I just filled up and my light was on for 18 miles and I put in 11.4 gallons. Tank is 13.2 gallons.
